Deputy Commissioner Dr. Under the guidelines of Senu Duggal and the Bharat Sankalp Yatra developed under the leadership of Civil Surgeon Fazilka, health screening and awareness camps are being conducted in villages . Apart from bringing 17 important schemes of the government to the public through the awareness van, the plan is to engage the potential beneficiaries during the journey. Information about government schemes is being given at the ground level in the villages till 26 January 2024 through screens, promotional materials and videos available in the vans .
In the medical checkup camp organized by Fazilka Health and Family Welfare Department, B.P. , diabetes and blood tests were done. Non-communicable diseases were checked up by the medical team and people were made aware to prevent vector-borne diseases. In which 10681 people have been health checked by setting up village-to-village camps.
Under Ayushman Bharat-Mukhya Mantri Sehat Bima Yojana, 414 beneficiaries were issued health insurance cards worth Rs. National TB TB under elimination program Suspected patients were examined in which around 10681 people were examined during the session in 259 villages . It has 3892 symptoms of TB and sugar and BP. 5418 people were examined along with others . He appealed to those people to take maximum benefit in the health camp run by the government.
