Chandigarh, September 22 – Haryana Government will celebrate the ‘Haryana Veer Evam Shaheedi Diwas’ on September 23, 2020. Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that all the Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners have been given directions to follow the guidelines issued by the Government of India and the State Government with regard to COVID-19 during the event. He said that instructions have been given to pay tribute to the martyrs by organizing public meetings, functions, seminars etc in each district. Furthermore, the officers concerned have been given instructions to honour the families of the martyrs other than giving mementos to those who have been honoured with Gallantry Award during war along with inviting freedom fighters and Kargil War Heroes for the event.
