74 patients cured and discharged
Leh, Aug 28: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, total 48 persons were tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the total positive reports, CMO Leh received 18 positive reports while CMO Kargil received 30 positive reports.
With the death of one more patients from Covid-19 in Leh districts, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has gone up to 28; 10 in Leh and 18 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further details that 23 patients from Facility Isolation, 07 patients from Covid Care Centre, 03 patients from Covid hospital and 33 patients of Home Isolation in Leh, were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received by CMO Leg yesterday.
Similarly, 06 patients of Home Isolation and 02 patients from Covid hospital in Kargil were discharged today after their negative sample reports were received by CMO Kargil yesterday.
With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has decreased to 798; 480 in Leh district and 318 in Kargil district and that the condition of all 798 active cases of COVID-19 in UT Ladakh is stable.
Out of 18 positive sample reports received by CMO Leh, 02 Positive sample reports were received from DIHAR Lab Leh, 01 positive sample report was received from PGIMER Chandigarh, 03 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test and 12 positive sample reports were received from Covid Lab Chuchot.
Out of 30 positive sample reports received by CMO Kargil, 05 positive sample reports were received from PGIMER Chandigarh and 25 positive sample reports were detected through Rapid Antigen Test. Today, 146 samples were sent to PGIMER Chandigarh for testing. Out of the total samples, 68 samples were sent by CMO Leh and 78 samples were sent by CMO Kargil. 196 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh today.
