As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, five new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. While a total of 996 sample reports in UT Ladakh – Leh:725 and Kargil: 266 were found negative.

No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged nine patients yesterday, all were discharged from Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is 42; 39 in Leh and 3 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1743 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 280 and 85 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and Upshi check posts
