The Government agencies and private Traders have procured 74895 metric tonnes of wheat in Punjab on 30th day of procurement.
Disclosing this here today, an official Spokesperson said that out of the total 74895 procurement from various procurement centres in the State, the Government agencies procured 74895 MT of wheat .
He further said that PUNGRAIN has procured 15791.75 metric tonnes, MARKFED 19640 .30 metric tonnes and PUNSUP procured 19430.90 metric tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation 7563.75 MT wheat respectively. The Centre government agancy FCI has procured 8687 MT wheat. Apart from this Pungrain Procured 3781 MT wheat for public distribution in the Punjab.
Progressive procurement by all the procuring agency is 12869679.93 MT.
