A three-day online training camp on ‘Mushroom Production Technique’ started today at Saina Nehwal Institute of Agriculture Technology, Training and Education of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar.
Addressing the trainees on the occasion, Co-Director (Training) of the Institute, Dr. Ashok Godara said that before starting any business, it is very important to have its technical knowledge and business techniques. Elaborating on it further he said that the products will not get the desired profit in the market unless they are not given the appropriate price. He called upon farmers and unemployed youth to avail maximum benefits of this training programme.
Convener of this online training, Dr. Pavitra Kumari informed that 35 participants from different districts of the state are taking part in this training. During this time, lectures on various topics related to mushroom will be imparted to the participants and detailed information about mushroom will be given. She apprised the participants about the benefits of mushrooms and the nutritional and medicinal properties of mushrooms. She also gave detailed information about the method of preparing mushroom manure.
