KARGIL, JULY 24, 2021 Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Kargil Ghulam Muhammad inaugurated 30 days training programme on skill development and opportunities in leather and allied products for SHG members of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) at NRLM Training Centre Poyen here today.
The training programme has been conducted by the Department of Rural Development Ladakh and Department of Industries Ladakh in collaboration with CSIR- Central Leather Research Institute Chennai.
All SHGs related to tailoring units of Kargil and Sodh Block including those of villages Karkitchoo, Hardass, Chanigund, Minji and villages of Sodh Block are participating in the training programme.
During the course of the training programme, the resource persons from Kolkata shall train the SHG members about leather technology production and marketing within and outside the district and other related aspects.
