REASI, JUNE 4, 2021: Chairperson Block Development Council (BDC) Katra, Sham Lal Bhagat today launched work on a road project here from Bhumika Mandir to Purna Darore.
The road project costing Rs over one crore is targeted to be completed in two months. It will benefit a population of over 200 souls in Village Purana Darore of Block Katra, meeting a long pending demand of the area.
After launching the road work, the Chairperson interacted with local people of the village and assured them of all basic facilities in this area. “We are regularly touring far flung and uncovered habitation to assess the basic facilities,” he added.
Responding to the issues raised by local people, he said all the important issues will be projected at appropriate quarters for early resolution. He also said that the BDC is working with full dedication for the betterment of the general public.
Among others present on the occasion included AEE, Suresh Gupta, Junior Engineer, Sarpanch Rekha, PRIs and other prominent citizens.
