Elaborate security arrangements made to instill sense of security among people

A 10-hour Bharat Bandh called by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) to mark the first anniversary of the three controversial farm laws, was observed peacefully in SAS Nagar District.

Disclosing this here today, Deuty Commissioner Ms. Isha Kalia said that all emergency establishments and essential services, including hospitals, medical stores, relief and rescue work and people attending to personal emergencies, remained open during the strike as exempted the same by the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha.
She informed that farmers assembled at highways and other key roads since morning and the agitation remained totally peaceful throughout the district. She said that elaborate security arrangements were made to instill sense of security among people.
