Cabinet Minister Tript Bajwa donates month salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in view of Corona Virus situation

Appeals to Industrial, Social and Religious Leaders to come forward to help people

Chandigarh, March 23: The Punjab Cabinet Minister for Rural Development, Higher Education and Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development and Fisheries Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa has decided to donate his one month salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help people in the present situation caused by the Corona virus.

In a press statement issued here today, Mr. Tript Bajwa said that people of the state were also asked to stay in their houses till March 31 to prevent spreading of corona virus. Due to this lockdown there is a strong possibility of bad effect on the daily workers and poor people and they may also be short of daily food items. He has appealed to the industrial houses, social and religious leaders to come forward to provide all possible help to the people in this crisis situation.

Mr. Bajwa also appealed to the people to fully cooperate with every step taken by the government to save the people. He also said that there was no need to panic but follow all the instructions carefully issued by the health department for the prevention of corona virus.
