The Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, convened a meeting today to review and discuss the preparedness for the re-opening of schools in the district after a long gap of covid restrictions and winter vacation.

CEC Gyalson, addressed the concerned officials to ensure the safety of students. He also directed the concerned officers to ensure the cleanliness, proper sanitation and social distancing in schools. The holding of physical classes after a long gap may witness an initial inertia which needs to be broken and for that he stressed upon to encourage the children back to school
DC Leh also added that safety, hygiene and SOPs should be implemented strictly at schools.
The meeting was attended by Dy Chairman Tsering Angchuk, DC Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse; Executive Engineer, Leh; CEO, Education, Leh; DEPO, Leh and other Education Officials.
