Chandigarh, October 8 – Haryana Cooperation, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that during the last seven years, the Centre and Haryana Government’s programmes have focused on Antyodaya i.e. welfare of the last person. They launched several programmes and schemes dedicated to the upliftment of the poor.
He said this while addressing a function organized by Baba Kundan Das Janseva Trust, Kanuka in Rewari today.
While wishing the villagers a happy Navratri, the Cooperation Minister said that on this holy occasion, the blessings of the Mother Goddess be upon all of us so that everyone is happy and is an integral part of development in the area. Happy with the warm welcome received in the village, the Cooperation Minister announced financial assistance of Rs.11 lakh for developmental works of the track, library and village for the youth.

The Cooperation Minister said that, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi was elected as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7 October, about 20 years ago. During his tenure of two decades, he started many schemes for the welfare of the poor with the spirit of service and dedication. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, the Haryana Government has done the work of moving ahead with good governance and transparency.
