Chief Minister Shri Chouhan Planted Coconut Sapling in Residence Premises

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a coconut sapling in the residence premises today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has been planting saplings every day since the last Narmada Jayanti as part of his resolve. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has tweeted – “Coconut plant is of religious and medicinal importance has been planted in the residence premises today. We all must plant trees to protect the environment. I plant saplings every day, I appeal to all of you to plant saplings on auspicious occasions at home.”
Coconut is considered propitious and auspicious in Indian civilization. Coconut is called ‘Shriphal’ in Sanskrit, Shri means Lakshmi. Coconut water contains a good amount of electrolytes, which removes fatigue or weakness. One coconut contains about 600 milligrams of potassium.
