On this occasion, Swachhata Mitras of Bhopal, Shri Gaurav Kalyane, Shri Arvind Paroche and Shri Jitendra Naharia were with him. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan plants saplings every day in fulfillment of his resolve. It is noteworthy that while keeping the capital Bhopal neat and clean and giving special importance to environmental protection, plantation is being done in Tulsi Nagar area of Zone-7 of the Municipal Corporation under Ankur Abhiyan by these Swacchtah Mitras.

The Neem and Kadam trees planted today have special significance from the point of view of environment and health. Kadamba or Kadam is considered to be the tree of the gods. Kadamba is famous in Ayurveda for its medicinal properties. A special thing about Kadamba is that its leaves are very big and gum comes out of them. Its fruits are like lemons. Kadam flowers have their own importance. The mention of these fragrant flowers is found in ancient Vedas and compositions.
