Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar on Wednesday felicitated 36 cops including a police team that busted Rs 35 lakh cash robbery and others for arresting snatchers/thieves.
Accompanied by DCP SPS Dhindsa, ADCPs Dr Pragya Jain, Rupinder Kaur Bhatti, ACP Harsimrat Pal Singh, Commissioner of Police handed over commendation certificates to cops part of the team that cracked Rs 35 lakh robbery included Sub-Inspectors Harminder Singh, Satish Kumar, Amarjit Singh, Jaspal Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspectors Ravinder Pal Singh, Rupinderdeep Singh, Amrik Singh, Ashok Kumar, Jaspal Singh, Kulwant Singh, Balwinder Singh, Surinder Pal, Head Constables Balwinder Singh, Balkar Singh, Prabhjit Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Maninder Singh and Honeypreet Singh.

Further, he also honoured Inspector Satpal Singh, Madhu Bala, Gurjeet Singh, Rajwant Singh, Gurmail Singh, Lakhvir Singh, Jasvir Singh, Ajit Kumar, Manjot Singh, Jaswinder Singh, Dheeraj Sehgal, Harmanbir Singh, Rajinder Singh, Kulbir Singh, Sumandeep Singh, Manjinder Singh, Ravinder Singh and Udayvir Singh with commendation certificate for their dedication towards the duties and arresting snatchers or thieves.
Commissioner of Police said that all of them have done an outstanding job and they have been bestowed with this honour in recognition of their devotion towards duty. Bhullar asked them to continue to serve society with full enthusiasm.
Bhullar said that Commissionerate Police would now honour all such cops who are rendering marvellous services and ensuring round the clock vigil in the city.
He asked them to uphold the glorious legacy of Punjab Police to serve the people and leave no stone unturned in making crime-free Ludhiana.
