Cultural tour of Kurukshetra can now be witnessed from anywhere in the world
Chandigarh, December 9: People can now witness the 48 Kos (mile) cultural tour of Kurukshetra in Haryana from anywhere in the world. In this 48 Kos cultural journey and 134 pilgrimages with their mythological history can be experienced through video films.
Giving further information about this, an official spokesperson said that the online 48 Kos cultural journey was started by a special team formed under the supervision of the Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner. Along with this cultural journey, all subjects related to this can be accessed from any corner of the world. Under-training IAS officer, Vaishali Singh was given the responsibility to curate the cultural journey and put it into words and make videos. Under the leadership of Ms. Singh, Curator, Sri Krishna Museum Rajendra Rana, Artist, Balwan, and Bharat Saini, and students of Journalism Department of Kurukshetra University, Naman, Anoop Semwal, Deeksha Kataria, and Ravi were also part of the team.
He further said that keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic, efforts have been made this year to make the International Gita Mahotsav -2020 accessible online to devotees and tourists in the country and the world.
