BANDIPORA, MAY 07: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad on Friday inspected different control rooms established at Mini-Secretariat to review their functioning.
Dr Owais visited the District Control Room, Home Isolation Control Room, and Contact tracing Control Room. He took stock of the functioning of the Control Room and stressed upon the concerned officials to work with added zeal and dedication.
He was informed that the Control Rooms are functional round the clock and that separate Control Rooms are also functional at block level to tackle any situation due to Covid pandemic and for the effective communication and coordination between different teams.
While reviewing the functioning of the control room, he inquired about the well being of the covid positive patients and medical support being provided by the on-field surveillance teams.
The DC emphasized that administration and medical staff needs to work coherently and ensure that regular feedback is being taken and recorded by the Covid control room nodal officer.
Later the DC took feedback from the nodal officers of different covid related activities and reviewed the covid control measures including status of vaccination, testing, contact tracing, monitoring Home-Isolation, Implementation of lockdown and other covid control measures.
He stressed upon the officers especially health workers to work with added dedication for speedy recovery of the Covid-19 patients both in the hospital and home isolation. He directed officers to intensify their efforts in containing the deadly disease at each level to save the precious human lives.
The DC was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Medical Officer Bandipora, Nodal Officer Covid, BDO, Nodal Officer Home isolation, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Bandipora, District Epidemiologist and other senior officers of the district.
