RS 32 LAKH SPENT ON AMBULANCE CONTAINING LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR ELDERS AND PAEDIATRICS

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and Municipal Councillor Mamta Ashu on Monday dedicated an advanced life support ambulance to the people of the Ludhiana in Civil Hospital, here.
Thanking Avon Cycles Chairman and MD Onkar Singh Pahwa for donating Rs 32 lakh for preparing an ultra-modern hi-tech ambulance, an electronic mortuary van, and 15 oxygen concentrators, Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma and Municipal Councillor Mamta Ashu said that this ambulance would meet the increased demand for transportation of patients with an advanced life support system.
They said that the ambulance has facilities of the ventilators for elder and paediatrics, Air -Conditioning, ECG, oxygen machine, Defibrillator and infusion system, suction pump, stretcher, oximeters, and first aid kit. Further, they said that the mortuary van would provide free-of-cost hearse-related services to the deceased of Coronavirus and others.
They told that Avon Cycles Chairman and MD Onkar Singh Pahwa’s contribution towards society would always be remembered and this would help to tackle the predicted third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic effectively.
They further urged the people to get vaccinated at the earliest and obey the Covid protocols to avoid the third wave of the pandemic.
They added that the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is committed to ensuring the safety and security of the people besides combating coronavirus in the district.
They told that the administration has been making strenuous efforts to ensure people do not face any sort of problem and no stone would be left unturned for providing quality health services.
