DC Rajouri inspects patient care facilities at newly established Covid Care Centres

RAJOURI, APRIL, 28: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today visited to the MCH Old District Hospital Rajouri and Girls Gujjar Hostel Nagrota which have been converted to Covid Care Centres and reviewed the arrangements being put in place for the convenience of the persons to be brought in the centres.
Among the others, ADC Rajouri, Sher Singh; CMO, Dr Shamim Un Nissa Bhatti; Dy. CMO, Dr Anees Altaf Nabi; DIO, Dr Parveen Yograj; ExEn PWD Rajouri, Mohd Zubair; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
The Deputy Commissioner said that with the spike in the number of COVID19 cases in the district, the dire need of the hour is to augment the medical facilities to ensure the efficient management of the COVID19 pandemic in the district and the district administration is making concerted efforts in this direction to ensure the safety of its citizens.
About the supply of the Medical oxygen in GMC&AH, the Deputy Commissioner informed that presently 32 oxygen cylinders with a capacity of 07 cubic meters each are functioning in the hospital besides, the material for the installation of the oxygen concentrator plant has been received yesterday and the work on the installation of the same is being carried out on a war footing basis and would be completed before 03rd of May this yer.
Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to put in place all the logistic arrangements in terms of uninterrupted water, power supply, food and other essentials for the convenience of the persons to be brought in the centres.
Deputy Commissioner also stressed maintaining proper cleanliness and sanitation in the Covid Care Centres and asked for ensuring the proper follow up of all the SOPs regarding COVID19 by the staff and the patients in the centres.
Deputy Commissioner urged upon the staff deployed at the centres to work with utmost dedication and make added efforts to ensure that all the basic facilities are made available to the persons to be brought to the centres so that they don’t feel any inconvenience during their temporary stay at these centres.
