REASI, MAY 31, 2021: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh on Monday released Rs.12.36 lakh as a Covid relief for Pithu, Porters and Pony walas of Shiv Khori Shrine.
On this occasion, Executive officer Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board (Additional Deputy Commissioner) Rajinder Kumar Sharma was also present.
The DC said that the amount has been released as the first installment of covid relief for 618 eligible beneficiaries.
The DC directed Shiv Khori Shrine Board to ensure that no eligible beneficiary was left out while disbursing the relief.
Meanwhile, Charandeep Singh emphasized on creating awareness among the labourers about various schemes being implemented by the Shiv Khori Shrine Board in the district so that they can also avail the benefits of various welfare schemes. He also stressed on strict adherence to covid related SOPs and guidelines.
