Chandigarh, June 14 – Haryana Police has arrested a man in connection with smuggling of narcotics and seized 100 gram of smack from his possession in Rohtak district.
Giving this information here today, a Haryana Police spokesperson informed that a team of crime investigation agency was patrolling to keep a tab on anti-social elements. In the meantime, the arrested accused was seen coming on foot from Mata darwaza side. Based on suspicion, when police nabbed and frisked him, 100 gram smack was recovered from his possession. Arrested accused was identified as Kuldeep alias Cheeki, a resident of Najafgarh, Delhi.
A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the NDPS Act and further investigation is underway.
In a separate incident, police arrested two persons riding a motorcycle with 35.5 grams of heroin in Fatehabad district. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act against the accused.
