Deputy Chief Minister took High level meeting post visiting Covid hospitals being constructed in Panipat-Hisar.

There will be no imposition of lockdown in Haryana, only the night curfew will continue: Dushyant Chautala

– Guidelines issued to officers for making both the 500-bed hospitals operational soon

Chandigarh, 9 May- Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala presided over a high-level meeting with officers of various departments regarding controlling the exponential surge in the Covid-19 cases.

In the meeting, Sh. Dushyant Chautala reviewed the concern with senior officers of various departments including Health, Public Works Department for early functioning of both 500 bed temporary hospitals being constructed in Panipat and Hisar district for the treatment of Covid infected patients. Necessary guidelines were issued during the meeting. On this occasion, Haryana Minister of State, Sh. Anoop Dhanak and senior officers of various departments were present.

Deputy Chief Minister said that it is because of the constant efforts of the state government that timely treatment is available to the Covid infected patients. He said that for this, the State Government is strenuously working and constructing both the 500 bed hospitals in Hisar and Panipat. The Deputy Chief Minister said that in order to operate both the temporary hospitals the Haryana Minister of State, Sh. Anoop Dhanak has been given responsibility for ensuring the progress and completion of work. Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed the officers for the deployment of staff in both these hospitals under the Labour Department, the staff of ESI, dispensary staff and health care workers will perform their duties under the CMO of the concerned district.

At the same time, the Deputy Chief Minister appealed to the final year medical student, intern (trainee), to step forward and support the government to combat the second wave of corona pandemic by rendering their services to the hospitals. He said that the government will also work towards giving due honorarium to such medical students, interns, who are perfoming the Covid duties. During the meeting, Sh. Dushyant Chautala gave directions to the authorities to ensure that proper arrangements are made for regular maintenance of oxygen supply in the State. He said that oxygen plants are being set up in the state through the PM Care Fund and DRDO and oxygen plants will also be set up in private hospitals as well
