Checking of Service Delivery Counters of Fard Kendra, Suwidha Kendra, RTA Office and Tehsil Office

Reiterating the firm commitment of the district administration to ensure timely and hassle free delivery of all government services to the people, Deputy Commissioner Mr.Amit Talwar on Monday conducted a surprise check of various offices at District Administrative Complex Sector-76.
The Deputy Commissioner visited Fard Kendra, Suwidha Kendra, RTA. Office. He also visited various service providing counters of these offices and interacted with the people present there to get feedback on the functioning of government offices. He also reviewed the various stages of citizen centric services from issuing token numbers to receiving services.
He asked the management of Sewa and Suwidha Kendras to ensure that every operator at the counters would provide detailed information to the people about the documents required for the services so that the people would not be embarrassed to get the services. Mr. Talwar also said that services should be provided to the people within the stipulated time after receiving the tokens. DC instructed to increase the counters in Fard centre. It was increased to two from one on the spot. He instructed the Tehsildar Mr. Puneet Bansal to submit the upgradation plan for Fard centre within two days.
During the visit the Deputy Commissioner said that these service and Suwidha Kendras have been opened by the state government to provide all kinds of citizen centric services to the people under one roof. He said that any delay in providing these services to the citizens would not be tolerated. He said that such surpise inspections would be carried out regularly to monitor the functioning of these centers. Mr. Talwar also asked the staff working in these centers to treat the people with humility and courtesy as they had come here to serve them.
