Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Sakshi Sahwney conducted a surprise inspection of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, meeting patients and listening to their concerns. She instructed the Medical Superintendent to prioritize resolving patient issues and ensure all available facilities are provided.
During her visit, Mrs. Sahwney inspected the emergency ward, medicine department, and surgery department. She emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness, installing signage boards, and ensuring washroom hygiene.
DC instructed form a committee to review ongoing work and address patient satisfaction weekly. She also address to ensure proper use of funds for emergency upgrades, arrange for adequate nighttime lighting and safety measures for patients’ families.
DC said that maintain high cleanliness standards in the blood bank.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Karamjit Singh, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr. IPS Grover, Superintendent Lovely Kumar, and other doctors were present during the inspection.
The surprise check aims to improve patient care and satisfaction at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.
