Director Land Records reviews land mapping work by drone under Mera Ghar Mere Naam scheme at village Khaspur
—-Under ‘Swamitwa’ scheme, people living inside ‘Lal Dora’ will be given land ownership rights: Rajesh Tripathi

A flagship project has been initiated by the Punjab Government under Mera Ghar Mere Naam ‘Swamitwa’ scheme to give ownership rights to properties built within the lal dora (red line). Under this scheme, land mapping is being done by drone in rural areas. Mr. Rajesh Tripathi, Director of Land Records today made a visit to village Khaspur, sub-tehsil Banur, tehsil Mohali to inspect the drone work under this scheme.
Mr. Rajesh Tripathi said that after the completion of this scheme, the people living under the red line will be given ownership rights, which will make it easier for them to buy and sell these properties and maintain records. He said that Sh. K.A.P. Sinha, I A S, Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue is regularly monitoring the project and he has given strict instructions to all the officials for the implementation of this multi-purpose scheme and instructed them to carry out the pending work as soon as possible in a time-bound manner.
Tehsildar Mohali Mr. Karamjot Singh and Naib Tehsildar Banur Mr. Kulwinder Singh were also present on this occasion.
