Dushyant Chautala holds discussion on ‘Panchgram’ project with the officers of HSIIDC
Chandigarh, February 19: Taking steps towards employment generation, strengthening the industries and infrastructure of Haryana, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala today held discussion on ‘Panchgram’ project with the officers of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC). Managing Director, HSIIDC, Anurag Agarwal, Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Vijayendra Kumar and other officers were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister was apprised of the Rough Master Plan prepared for the ‘Panchgram’ project through a presentation, in which Dushyant Chautala also made several valuable suggestions.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the way Haryana Government has envisioned to work on the ‘Panchgram’ project, a new era will be heralded in the state if that vision is realized. He said that according to the project, these newly proposed cities will have world-class facilities in terms of industrial, commercial, economic, institutional, and residential areas. In addition, international investors and consultants will come to the state, he added.
Dushyant Chautala said that the KMP Expressway will also be beneficial in making this project a success. He said that about 136 Km long KMP Expressway has also reduced traffic in Delhi. Earlier, vehicles going to Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, or other states which used to go via Delhi are now bye-passing the National capital through KMP, he added
He said that the State Government is working on the rapid development of the state and is striving to provide more job opportunities to the youth.
Dushyant Chautala directed the concerned officers to study the best models of India and abroad for the ‘Panchgram’ project and said that while preparing the Final Master Plan, the officers should also keep in mind the population growth in the future and other basic necessities including drinking water for it.
