ENACTUS SSBUICET, Panjab University, a student chapter of an internationally recognized Non Profitable Organization has won the KPMG Business Ethics Grant 2021 of Rs. 50,000/-, thus securing its name in the list of top 10 teams nationwide, informed Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor of Enactus team.
Displaying consistent resolution by the team, it is a great moment as ENACTUS team has been able to bring distinction to the name of Panjab University for 2 successive years by bagging this prestigious grant, averred Prof. Kapoor.
With a bandwidth of over 50 students, the team is presently working on two projects- Project Uday and Project Dhra, both aimed to construct a sustainable business model for the under-blessed spectrum of society, thus restructuring the economic division and conditioning their living standards, told Akshit Kalra, President of Enactus team.

Through addressing major global issues, one of these projects is aimed at uplifting marginalized semi-skilled women, while the other is aimed at uplifting the potter’s community around Chandigarh, said Dea Batra, Content Head of Enactus team.
Prof. Kapoor expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Enactus India and KPMG for facilitating the team with this opportunity of creating a larger impact and improving more lives. She added that with a decade-long journey of social and economic impact on society, the team has been accomplishing milestones towards its mission of creating a better and more sustainable world for everyone.
Akshit Kalra along with Vice President, Sonali and Meesha and other members of Enactus team rejoiced on this achievement and articulated a rational road map to utilize this grant money in creating a better world for all.
