Excise and Taxation Department substituted with Department of State Taxes and Excise name

A spokesperson of the State Government said here today that the Government has substituted Excise and Taxation Department with Department of State Taxes and Excise by making rules to amend the Business of the Government of Himachal Pradesh (Allocation) Rules, 1971. He said that these rules would be called as Business of the Government of Himachal Pradesh (Allocation) Rules, 1971 (164th Amendment) Rules, 2021.
