Rupnagar police arrested Gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s accomplice Vishal Verma along with 9 pistols and 20 live cartridges.

Giving information about this, Senior Police Captain Rupnagar Mr. Vivek Sheel Soni IPS said that on the directives of Chief Minister Punjab, a special campaign is being conducted against anti-social elements. He said that under the supervision of S.P. (Investigation) Mr. Manwinderbir Singh, the police party has achieved success to nabe this criminal.
Mr. Vivek Sheel Soni further said that Vishal Verma, who is close accomplice of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria, has been arrested with consignment of weapons as he planned to carry out a serious crime in Punjab.
He said that the arrested Vishal Verma had also supplied weapons on a large scale earlier but he had escaped from the police at Hoshiarpur. A case under NDPS Act has been registered at Bullowal police station, Hoshiarpur.
S.S.P. said that Police remand will be obtained by producing him in the court and it is expected that there will be more revelation to come in light. The investigation of the case is going on.
