GLADA demolished 5 illegal colonies
Ludhiana, September 21:
GLADA today demolished 5 illegal colonies as per the order of Sh. Amarinder Singh Malhi, Additional Chief Administrator GLADA. Notices to these unauthorized colonies have already been issued under section 39 of the PAPR Act 1995 (amended-2014).
As per orders, a special demolition team has been constituted under the supervision of Dr. Baljinder Singh Dhillon, Estate Officer (Regulatory) GLADA, and four S.D.E’s GLADA along with 3 J.E’s and Duty Magistrate Mrs. Manvir Kaur Sidhu (Naib Tehsildar, Sahnewal) with the police force.
The whole demolition drive has been secretly planned by Mrs. Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu I.A.S Chief Administrator GLADA, Ludhiana. In this demolition, GLADA demolished 5 colonies in 3 villages- Jaspal Bangar, Dharaur, and Majara.
GLADA is also planning more demolition drives in the upcoming weeks. Also, Chief Administrator GLADA appeals to the general public not to purchase property/plots/buildings in unauthorized colonies as GLADA will not provide any facility like water supply, sewerage, electricity connections, street lights, etc.
