Governor and Chief Minister wished people on Deepawali
HIMACHAL, NOVEMBER 13
Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have send warm wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of Deepawali.
In a message, Governor said that Deepawali is the festival of lights, which symbolises joy and happiness and light over darkness.
He also hoped that the festival would bring joy and happiness into the lives of the people of the State.Chief Minister while extending Deepawali greetings to the people on the occasion has expressed hope that Deepawali would bring prosperity and unity.
Jai Ram Thakur said that Deepawali was one of the major festivals of country and people of all regions and religions celebrate it. He also asked people to celebrate the festival in traditional manner and keeping the corona virus situation into consideration, he requested the people to use face masks, maintain social distancing and follow the SOPs of the Government.
