Governor asked people to take special measure against Covid 19 during the festive season
HIMACHAL, NOVEMBER 7
Governor Bandaru Dattatraya informed that the State Government is working hard to fight against Corona pandemic in the State and many social organizations were also doing amazing work in this direction. He said that such organizations and societies should be supported. He was speaking on the occasion of honouring Corona warriors through Lakshmi Narayan Welfare Society at Raj Bhavan.
The Governor also informed that there has been a lot of change in these eight months and people were working hard enough and are now prepared to fight the pandemic. He asked the people to take all preventive measure against Covid 19 during the upcoming festive season and strictly follow the guidelines given by the Government. He said that no carelessness should be allowed until the vaccine is out and suggested the people to wear masks and maintain physical distancing. He said that the corona pandemic has given us the lesson of adopting healthy habits such as maintaining hygiene, cleanliness, practicing yoga along with nutritious and balanced diet.
The Governor appreciated the efforts of the Society and said that such efforts would also inspire other people. He hoped that the society would remain associated with the work of social service in future also.
Ravi Kant, President, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Welfare Society welcomed and honoured the Governor on the occasion and detailed about the social activities of the Society.
