Governor has extended his warm greetings on occasion of Id-ul-Fitr

Governor of Goa Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari has extended his greetings and good wishes to the people of Goa particularly the Muslim community on the auspicious festive occasion of Id-ul-Fitr. In a message, the Governor says this festival marks the end of Ramadan which is a holy month of fasting. Ramadan is not only about refraining from food and drink, but is also about abstaining from evil thoughts, words and actions. Prophet Mohammad pryeached the values of love, peace, brotherhood and compassion. In the present troubled world, let us practice these great principles in the best interests of national solidarity and social harmony.
