Four faculty members of JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad, have been selected to receive grant amount of Rs. 67 lakh from Haryana State Council for Science, Innovation and Technology under Department of Science and Technology, Haryana, for their Research and Development (R&D) Projects.

Giving information in this regard an official spokesperson said that the faculty members who have been selected to received grants include Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering for project titled ‘Design and Fabrication of Manually Operated Agriculture Waste Briquetting Machine: A Business Model for Self Help Groups’, Dr. Ravi Kumar, Associate Professor of Chemistry for project titled ‘Oxidative Catalysis and Synthesis of COVID-19 Drug Candidates/Precursors using iodine incorporated Metal-Organic Framework’, Dr. Anurag Gaur, Associate Professor of Physics for project titled ‘Development of Paani Ki Battery to produce green energy for sustainable growth of rural areas’ and Dr. Rashi Gupta, Assistant Professor of Physics for project ‘Synthesis of diverse group of growth morphologies of ZnO nano/micro-structures in search of gigantic piezoelectric response and for their practical application in mechanical energy harvesting’.
