Chandigarh, July 26 – Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala, on the 22nd anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, saluted the brave soldiers who made sacrifices for the country. In a statement issued here, he said that due to the indomitable courage of the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the motherland, India defeated Pakistan every time in Kashmir.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that in the year 1999, a war was fought between India and Pakistan on the hills of Kargil. The brave Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani army’s attempt to infiltrate. The war that started in May was ended by July and on July 26, 1999 India declared victory. He paid homage to all the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country on the occasion of Kargil Diwas today. He said that his bravery inspires us every day.
