Direct connectivity is being ensured from East to West of the state through roads so that the movement of traffic becomes smooth for the convenience of the people. 

Chandigarh, March 7- Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala said that direct connectivity is being ensured from East to West of the state through roads so that the movement of traffic becomes smooth for the convenience of the people.  He recently met Union Minister, Sh. Nitin Gadkari had a detailed discussion regarding the completion of various projects related to the roads along with the upcoming projects of the state.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of the Public Works Department said this in response to a question raised by a member of the House during the budget session of Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala further informed that the Government has given in-principle approval on May 4, 2021, to start the Hisar-Tosham-Rewari road project under hybrid annuity mode.  The road from Mahendergarh to Rewari via Kanina is also a part of the said project and a consultant is being appointed to prepare its DPR.  In such a situation, arrangements for administrative approval for the implementation of this work will be made by the government in due time.

He further informed that the work of Charkhi Dadri-Mahendergarh road has been allotted, it will be completed soon.

The Deputy Chief Minister, in response to another question asked by a member of the House, said that although there have been reports of good condition of the road from Hansi to village Umra and from village Umra to Kanwari village, however, if he is not satisfied with it, then again report of these roads will be re-examined so that further action can be taken accordingly.

        Sh. Dushyant Chautala in response to another question on the construction of a by-pass in Hasanpur city which comes under Hodal assembly constituency said that a detailed survey will be initiated soon, if it is reasonable from the point of view of traffic, then further action will be taken.
