Haryana Government arrested 377 criminals running illegal immigration scams and to prevent human trafficking and recovered Rs.1,12,88,600

The Haryana Government constituted a team to nab those running illegal immigration scams and to prevent human trafficking which has so far arrested 377 criminals in 435 cases and recovered Rs.1, 12, 88, 600 from their possession.
Giving information in this regard, SIT Chief, Bharti Arora said that the team was formed on the recommendation of Home Minister, Anil Vij. The team has filed cases of human trafficking under Illegal Immigration Act against illegal agents in different districts of Haryana. Among them, there are many accused against which more than two cases have been registered. History sheets of 15 such criminals have been opened.
Arora said that among these accused, four cases of human trafficking against Bittu of Pehowa have been registered and nine such cases have been registered against Satpal, a resident of Pundri living in Mohali recently. Apart from these, there are two cases of trafficking against Mahabir of Kaithal, four cases against Rajkumar of Kaithal, 14 cases against Surendra Singh of Ambala city, six cases against Makhan Singh and three cases against Amanjot Singh.
The SIT chief said that there are 24 cases against Om Prakash of Panipat, seven cases against Balwan, three cases against Sohan Lal, three cases against Pradeep. Similarly, two cases against Rajesh, resident of Karnal, three cases against Hardeep Singh, resident of Assandh, four cases against Krishna of Karnal and five cases against accused Jagdish. The history sheet has been opened against these 15 criminals so that these criminals can be monitored by the police, and these criminals cannot dupe anyone in future in the name of sending them abroad.
Arora said that apart from these, the process of opening the history sheet of 38 criminals in 124 cases is going on, which will be completed soon.
