Government is committed for continuous development and expansion of power facilities in the state – Power Minister Ranjit Singh

Chandigarh, January 9 – Haryana Power Minister, Sh. Ranjit Singh said that Haryana Government is continuously working for the development and expansion of facilities in every area in a planned manner so that every eligible person gets access to schemes and benefits.

The Power Minister visited Jodhpuria, Dariawala and Kharia villages of Sirsa district on Sunday and listened to the problems of the villagers. He directed the officers to resolve the issues related to electricity or development works promptly. The Power Minister said that there have been major improvements in the power system in the state and as a result of that, today the Haryana Power Corporation is providing best facilities across the state. Power is being supplied in abundance for every sector from common consumers to industry. Recently, the electricity rates were also reduced by the government, due to which the consumers of the state have benefited a lot.

He said that to strengthen the health facilities, medical colleges are being opened in the state by the government. He said that there is no need to panic because of the new variant of Corona, but it is necessary to be careful and alert. Keeping in mind our past experiences, we must follow the rules of Covid-19 to prevent infection.
