Haryana Government starts online services for issuing New Fair Price Shop License on the SARAL portal
Chandigarh, January 18– Haryana Government has started online services for people wanting to get New Fair Price Shop License issued on the SARAL portal, thus, now people can get the license issued at the ease of their homes. Haryana, Directorate of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs have directed all the District Food & Supplies Controllers to accept the application for new Fair Price Shop license through online mode only.
The people of the state no longer need to make rounds at Department office as they can submit the application at the website https://saralharyana.gov.in/ to apply online on public domain.
Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson of the Directorate of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs said that Public Centric Services of the Department shall be delivered to respective intended applicants through e-services in online mode only through SARAL portal with respect to issuance of new license of FPS. Thus, the applicants can submit applications online and can download the final approved/rejection certificate online. There is no need for the applicant to visit the Department’s office, he added. Also, the original downloaded certificate should be accepted as a valid certificate by all concerned officers/officials.
