Haryana Government while keeping the interest of the farmers

Chandigarh, May 11 – Haryana Government while keeping the interest of the farmers paramount has decided to procure wheat that has been lying unprocured in the mandis and procurement centres across the State on May 12, 2021. While in the  procurement process  which would be conducted  through videography only and those farmers can participate whose gate passes have been issued but till now their crops have not been procured.

Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesperson said that so far a total of 83.49 lakh tonnes of wheat has arrived at 396 Mandi/ Procurement Centres of the state, out of which a total of 80.90 lakh tonnes of wheat has been procured. Government today has procured a total of 1869 tonnes of wheat through various procurement agencies on the Minimum Support Price.

He informed that till date as many as 928981 J- forms of 499057 farmers have been issued. Till May 11, 2021, an amount of 13,454 crore has been transferred directly to the account farmers whose crops have been procured.

The spokesperson said that officers concerned have been directed that the lifting of the procured wheat should be done on daily basis.
