Haryana Police has apprehended two persons and recovered 42 kg 200 gram of poppy husk in Fatehabad
Chandigarh, December 18 – Continuing its crackdown against drug peddlers, Haryana Police in Fatehabad has apprehended two persons and recovered 42 kg 200 gram of poppy husk from their possession.
While stating this here today, a spokesperson of Haryana Police informed that primary investigation have revealed that arrested accused, identified as Sunil alias Kamal and Sushil alias Kalu, had brought the seized drugs from a dhaba near Bhilwada, Rajashtan.
He said that a police team was conducting checking of the vehicles at a naka near village Dhangar. Based on suspicion, the police team stopped a car and search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 42 kg 200 gram of poppy husk.
Case under the provisions of NDPS Act was registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
