Haryana State Haj Committee, Executive Officer, Sh. S.D. Bhatti said that date for applying for Haj Pilgrimage has been extended till April 22, 2022.

Chandigarh, April 12 – Haryana State Haj Committee, Executive Officer, Sh. S.D. Bhatti said that date for applying for Haj Pilgrimage has been extended till April 22, 2022. He further stated that the Pilgrims who are not above the age of 65 years as on April 30, 2022 are eligible for the Haj Pilgrimage.

He said that fresh Haj Applications can be submitted online from April 9, 2022 to April 22, 2022 on the condition that he/she possesses machine readable valid Indian International Passport issued on or before April 22, 2022 and valid upto December 31, 2022.

The pilgrims should have been administered COVID-19 vaccine as approved by the Saudi Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He said that applicants along with the prescribed documents can apply  on the website of Akhil Bhartiya Haj Committee at “http://hajcommittee.gov.in”. Before applying online, the applicant should choose the place of starting the journey according to his convenience only after reading the guidelines of the Akhil Bhartiya Haj Committee carefully. The options once selected will not be allowed to be changed later. The accommodation of the passengers will depend on the airfare.

        He said that Haj applicants can contact on phone number 0172-2741438 of Haryana Haj Committee or on phone number 022-22107070 of Akhil Bhartiya Haj Committee if they face any difficulty or inconvenience.
