Health Minister flags-off vehicles to create Awareness about Corona

Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma flagged off ‘Campaign Communication Vehicles’

Jaipur, September 7. Health Minister Dr Raghu Sharma flagged off
‘Campaign Communication Vehicles’ to create awareness about corona in
three districts of the State from his residence on Monday.
Dr Sharma said that awareness campaigns are being run across the
State to make the general public aware about corona. The special
campaign communication vehicles are being sent to Alwar, Jodhpur and
Ajmer districts with the help of United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA),
Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) and National Health Mission (NHM).
These vehicles till October 6 will go to the corona affected areas, tehsil
headquarters and 100 revenue villages and will make people aware about
corona.
National Health Mission Director Shri Naresh Kumar Thakral said that
IEC materials prepared by the department will be distributed through these
vehicles in corona affected districts. Along with, people will be told about
the preventive measures through street plays and songs. He said that the
general public will be informed about Missed Call radio ‘Naubat Baja’
through which the people giving missed calls on the mobile number
7733959595 can get necessary information related to health. It is to be
mentioned that till now more than 2 lakh people from Rajasthan have taken
health related information by giving missed call on ‘Naubat Baja’
UNFPA State Programme Coordinator Shri Sunil Thomas and REC
Chief Manager Shri Harish Baweja and other officers were present on this
occasion.
