Chandigarh, August 4 :- Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that it has been decided by the State Government to make health checkup of all policemen ageing above 35 years in two years mandatory and it will be free of cost. In this episode, today the the Health ATM machine was inaugurated by Sh. Vij at Ambala Police Range in Police Auditorium, Ambala city.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Vij said that after demonetisation, digital medium has gained momentum and people became aware about online money transactions. Steps have also been taken to promote digital mode in the field of health and this health ATM machine has been given by Lord’s Group through CSR fund.
On this occasion, the Home Minister appreciated the Group for it.
Through this machine 53 tests can be done in a short span of time
The Minister appreciated the Indian made health ATM machine given by Lord’s Group. He said that through this machine 53 tests would be conducted in a very short span of time and the report of these tests would also be available on the mobile of the concerned police personnel, his e-mail and hard copy of that report will also be available. He said that whenever the police personnel gets time, they can get their check done through this machine. Through these tests we will be able to know about the underlying diseases pertaining to BP, sugar as well as the status of our fitness and time. The specialty of the Health ATM machine is that the test report will be available immediately on the registered mobile of the person concerned. Along with this, the a slip comes out from the ATM.
The police department is present in the service of the people 24 hours
He said that the police department is present 24 hours a day in the service of the people. During Covid pandemic, the cities were deserted but the police department stood ready to serve the people.
On this occasion, ADGP Ambala Range Shrikant Jadhav while welcoming the chief guest said that continuous work is being done in the police area under the guidance of Home Minister, Sh. Anil Vij.
Superintendent of Police Jashandeep Randhawa and Lord’s Group’s Director Manav Teli also addressed the occasion.
On this occasion Director General of Health Services Dr. Veena Singh and dignitaries of the Police Department were present.
