CHANDIGARH 27 NOV 2021 ,
On the occasion of Constitution Day, the NSS units of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, under the aegis of college’s IQAC, organised a national-level online Quiz. The quiz, envisioning to motivate the youth to uphold the values enshrined in our Constitution, included questions based on the fundamentals and features of Indian Constitution. The quiz recorded an enthusiastic participation of around 349 students from over 10 states and UTs including Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Manipur, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and Chandigarh. The first three position holders and two consolation prize winners were awarded cash prizes. E-certificates were given to those who secured 80% and above.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava appreciated the efforts of NSS and IQAC to celebrate this day with great fervour. She asserted that this is a day to express gratitude to the makers of our Constitution and urged the youth to commit themselves to building the India of our dreams.
