Adding another feather to the cap of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, its students won four gold medals in the prestigious Khelo India University Games as they represented Panjab University in various events. MCM’s shooters Vanshika and Gurnoor were part of the Panjab University Team in the Rifle Shooting event and won two gold medals. Adding to the medal tally, MCM’s Komal won a gold medal in Boxing and Sanya won individual gold in Fencing.
Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava congratulated the winners for their superlative performance at such an esteemed platform. She said that the college is proud of its achievers in sports that include renowned cricketers Harleen Deol, Tanya Bhatia and Riddhima.
