“Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav-India@75” across the country on the holy festival of 75th anniversary of India’s independence

This unique event is being organized from 13 August 2021 to 2 October 2021 on the spirit of mass movement with public participation.
It will be conducted in 744 districts of all the states and union territories of the country.
Apart from the district-level race, events will also be organized in 75 towns and villages of different blocks of each district. Patriotism and pledge for good health, musical and cultural programs full of patriotism, along with other creative activities are going to be included in these programs.
On 13th August , Nehru Yuva Kendra Ludhiana organised “Freedom Run 2.0” at place of historical importance , at Ancestral house of Lala Lajpat Rai, Jagraon , where youth took part with great enthusiasm . After that , Freedom Run 2.0 was also organised at Ancestral house of Kartar Singh Sarabha, village Sarabha , Ludhiana.
The cheif guest of the event was Ms Sarabjeet Kaur, MLA , Jagraon who also motivated the youth to incorporate fitness into their daily lives , the guest of honour Mr.Raghbir Toor , an inspiring personality from the city , motivated the youth to realise the importance of fitness and not forget the sacrifices made for the independence of India.
The youth took a pledge for fitness followed by singing of the national anthem and then a run of around 7km around the ancestral houses was conducted .
Such an event was also important to make youth understand the importance of historical places in the city.
