KISHTWAR, A day long training session for about 90 Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers for forthcoming Panchayat by-elections phase l and ll was taken at Conference Hall New DC Office Complex.
At the outset, Nodal Officer for Training Management, Anoop Kumar (ALC Kishtwar) briefed the participants about their duties and role, besides all the key aspects of ensuing Panchayat Elections were addressed.He asked them to go through the Manual hand book for the better and successful conduct of Panchayati elections.
It is pertinent to mention here that the By-election is going to be held for 24 vacant sarpanches and 97 panchs in Kishtwar district. Naib Tehsildar election Angrez Singh Jasrotia and Master trainer Girdhari Lal were also present during the training session.
