Chandigarh, August 4 – Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department has extended the date of application for the scholarship given to sportspersons for the year 2021-22 till August 31, 2022.
While giving this information today, a spokesperson of the Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Department said that on the basis of achievements of various level sports competitions, this scholarship is to be given to the eligible sportspersons. Earlier the last date to apply for this scholarship was May 20, 2022, which has now been extended to August 31, 2022.
The spokesperson said that applications are invited for award of scholarships on the basis of sports achievements of competitions during the year 2021-2022 (1 April, 2021 to March 31, 2022).
The spokesperson said that along with the application form, the sportsperson should attached sports certificate, birth certificate, bank passbook, PAN card, residential certificate, SC certificate, copies of family identity card and an affidavit for not indulging in narcotics and anti-social activities. He said that the sample application form, eligibility and other conditions for scholarship are available on the departmental website www.haryanasports.gov.in.
