Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with CMs’ on Covid-19

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that this is a big disaster and the country will have to unite to face the disaster of Corona. Problems such as lack of oxygen have come to the fore, which were not imagined. But we cannot be free from our obligations. The country also stands united under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Only by this solidarity will self-confidence be built in the people and we will be able to overcome the crisis. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Center has allocated oxygen to the states. There is continuous support from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for the supply of oxygen. Chief Minister Chouhan thanked Union Home Minister Amit Shah for including oxygen transportation under Disaster Management Act. He said that the states will have to make efforts to arrange oxygen at their level as well. Chief Minister Chouhan was participating in a virtual dialogue with Chief Ministers on Covid-19 organized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Chief Minister Chouhan attended a video conference from the Ministry. Medical Education Minister Mr. Vishvas Sarang and Public Health Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chaudhary were also present. Chief Ministers of 11 states attended the video conference. Dr. B.K. Pal NITI Aayog member gave a presentation on the status of covid in the country. The efforts made by Madhya Pradesh for the frugal use of oxygen were appreciated in the presentation.
Continuous efforts are being made to arrange oxygen
Chief Minister Chouhan informed that continuous efforts are being made for arranging oxygen in Madhya Pradesh. Two tankers are being sent from Indore to Jamnagar by Air Force aircraft. This will save time taken in road transport. For the purpose of saving oxygen in the state, and oxygen audit has been arranged. Frugal use of oxygen is being ensured by connecting all hospitals to the portal. This system has led to exemplary initiatives in Khandwa. Where 80 cylinders were used, the number of which has been reduced to 25. It has been decided to build a 1000-bed hospital in the neighborhood of the refinery to use the oxygen available in the Bina refinery.
Help Center for cold and cough patients
Chief Minister Chouhan said that our effort is that people should be fine at home and they do not need to go to the hospitals. For this, doctors staying in the home isolation system contact the telephone twice. Covid Support Centers have been started in Madhya Pradesh. Here patients with cold and cough, will be examined. They are being isolated by providing medical kits. By improving the system of Covid Care Centers, they are being established as an alternative to the hospital.
Guideline required on the use of remdesivir injection
Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is necessary to issue a definite guideline on behalf of the Government of India in relation to the use of Remdesivir Injection.
National Security Act on black marketing of medicines
Chief Minister Chouhan said that action is being taken under National Security Act for black marketing of all important medicines including injections.Those who spread rumors and create an atmosphere of artificial scarcity, instructions have also been given to take strict action against them.
Effect of curfew for the public, by the public
Chief Minister Chouhan informed that the people have decided to implement the Corona Curfew in Madhya Pradesh. The curfew has been effective for the people, by the people, in the villages. In the last six-seven days, the rate of positivity has come down to 25 percent and the number of healthy people has also increased due to this campaign of self-governance started in the state.
Services of retired doctors are being taken on contract
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in view of the number of people affected by infection in the state, additional doctors and health workers will be needed. The state government is giving contractual appointments to retired doctors and health workers for availing services. Besides, arrangements are also being made for online training to eligible persons. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the crisis of corona infection is huge. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we will be able to overcome this crisis by trying unitedly.
